At Sensational Kidz, we provide play-based occupational therapy for children in the San Francisco Bay area, Marin County and Northern Virginia.
Our services consist of

Step 1
Initial Evaluation and Intake

50 minute sessions one time per week

Each session is unique to the child’s personality and current goals

Variety techniques and modalities are used

Weekly homework for the child and parent to promote carryover in the naturalistic environment and/or daily routines.

Establishing goals at the start of therapy and review with parents/caregivers every 6- months
Occupational Therapy Services
A child’s primary occupation is PLAY; it is through play that our occupational therapists help children grow and learn. Occupational Therapy (OT) helps children learn to perform everyday tasks and successfully engage in day-to-day life. Our team of occupational therapists teach children the skills for interacting with others, skills for sensory processing and self-regulation, self-care/self-help skills, and fine and gross motor skills.

In addition to individual treatment sessions, we offer comprehensive evaluations, standardized testing, participation in IEP meetings and consultations with teachers and/or other caregivers. Our therapists specialize in sensory integration, feeding therapy, handwriting, emotional regulation, Integrated Listening Systems (iLS) and the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) .
