Mia earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in fitness speciality from San Diego State University and went on to complete her Master's of Science in Occupational Therapy at James Madison University. Mia has completed fieldwork rotations at a skilled nursing facility working with the geriatric population, outpatient paediatrics, and inpatient psychiatric rehabilitation centre. Mia values nurturing the mind-body connection and creating a safe supportive space where each child can thrive. Her passions lie in paediatrics, yoga, creative expression, emotional regulation, sensory integration and child-led therapy. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, socializing, yoga, going to the gym, exploring farmers markets and spending time at the beach.
